My story,
I’m a photographer based in Mpumalanga, South Africa, with over a decade of experience behind the camera. A lifelong fascination with aesthetics, design, and creating lead me to starting Lianri Malan Photography in 2017. Through the years I've had the privilege of capturing many weddings, couples, portraits, families, and brands.
These days, my heart lies in family photography. As a wife and mom to a lively toddler, I know just how quickly the little moments slip by—the laughter, the chaos, the quiet connections that make up your family’s unique story. Capturing these authentic, heartfelt moments is what I love most about what I do.

When I’m not behind the lens, I’m pursuing a career in architecture, dabbling in homesteading, listening to podcasts, and enjoying the farm life with my family. Life on our farm with my husband, my son, my parents, and our dogs is both my greatest joy and my creative inspiration.
